Beginning of April 2012~

Well a lot has happened since my last post....

First big thing is: I got a promotion at work :) and JP got a great new job in Louisville!~ Still commuting, but it's only about 15 min. more than he does now. We are so thrilled with both opportunities! To celebrate and get a gift for Blakely, we bought a brand new car about a week ago~2012 Hyundai Elantra... we really love it!! Feels good not to struggle with AC and car trouble!

So another Big news topic this past week was Blakely trying to make an early appearance!~ This past Sunday night after the baby shower I started having contractions. The hubby and I stayed up ALL night, I went to work as usual and called the doc and went in at lunch. She ran tests, said I was 1 cm dialated, and they admitted me for monitoring for 24 hrs in the hospital. There they gave me fluids and meds as well as steroids to get the baby's lungs more mature. Test results came back and it showed I was in preterm labor. They gave me meds to subdue the contractions. I was released to be on 

Bed rest for the next 2-4 wks depending on how everything goes!?

Bed rest is soooo boring and hard to stay in the same spot and I'm only on day 3 :-/ I'm very thankful that I get to work from home during this time , it will keep me busy. JP and I are always running around town, never home for long, so having it mandatory to stay in the house is very difficult! & unfortunately I will miss the usual Easter festivities~ My parents are in town until Monday so they will be trying to bring Easter to John Paul and I at our house ;-)

 My poor husband has been worried to death since last Sunday when the contractions started. His blood pressure is sky high! :( Were just trying to keep praying for a 36 wk delivery resulting in a very healthy baby! The doctor said her due date will not go past 36 wks. So it looks like she will be coming around April 29th, instead of May 27th (original due date). My next post will probably be sooner than another month, since I don't really have anything else to do!!
